2020 by 2020 is the Goal!

Key Messaging | Guidelines | Take the Pledge

2020 by 2020 was an idea brought up in a strategic planning committee meeting a few years ago. The fall of 2014, saw a subcommittee formed to finally begin marketing two-thousand twenty members by the year 2020. The committee will work with the President and her membership team to promote 2020 by 2020 and plan training and events to generate enthusiasm from the membership.

USWT Discover You: Join Women of Today

Outstanding Awards at Winter State

At MNWT Winter State 2016, we honored four young people for their contributions to their community. Since 1994 MNWT has annually presented the Outstanding Person with Developmental Challenges Award, which honors individuals who have overcome challenges and become productive, contributing members of the community. The Outstanding Young Adult Award has been presented by the Minnesota Women of Today since 1974. It is a scholarship project designed to recognize young adults who show excellence in leadership abilities and involvement in community activities. Tonight we are honoring the top three nominees. Improvements to mnwt.org

The Web Team has often heard that the website is "difficult to navigate," but haven't heard how so. The Web Team will be making changes to the website in response to the results of the Brainstorming Website Improvements survey. To-date, we have made the following changes:

  • The way Facebook is portrayed on the homepage. This change will alleviate the slow load time and display ALL MNWT Official Facebook Pages in one interface.
  • A Join Us button appears on every webpage so those who are not yet members can let us know they wish to be members.

If you would like to have input on improvements to our website, please take the Brainstorming Website Improvements or contact webmaster@mnwt.org and let her know you are interested in being on the Web ReDo Team.
