We will be collecting new and used sneakers to be made available as affordable footwear around the world. Shoes will be collected at Fall State and Winter State Conventions. Laces should be left in the shoes. Each pair donated should be tied together and placed in a plastic grocery bag. Only sneakers (tennis shoes) can be donated. Any size sneakers (kid to adult) are accepted.
Please utilize the community awareness tools provided below to run your own drive in your community. Drive Ideas:
- Request that a local business put out a collection box.
- Ask a local day care center to collect kid sneakers for donation or do a collection at a kids event you hold during the year.
- Hold a Go-Green event and collect used sneakers too!
- Collect tennis shoes at your chapter meetings or chapter events.
- Utilize the door hanger linked below to hold a door to door collection campaign.
- Host a booth at a local green expo to collect tennis shoes.
- Host your own green expo with green companies and collect tennis shoes at the door.
