Vicki Rockwell of the Fridley Women of Today is pleased to announce her candidacy for the office of State President of the Minnesota Women of Today.
Vicki states, "Not only have I met several wonderful individuals that will be lifelong friends, but this organization has helped me grow personally and as a leader.
With the assistance of my staff, we will work to reveal many gifts. There’s the gift of membership offered to new members, the talents of our many members, and the support offered by our chapters to the foundations we work with."
Vicki’s brochure states that she, along with her staff, will share their passion and excitement with the membership as they work to develop new leaders and continue to move the organization forward. Vicki has served the MNWT in a variety of positions, including District Director, Records and Recognition state program manager, Internal Vice President and currently as Administrative Vice President.
Her chapter writes, "Vicki is a committed and organized leader in all facets of this organization. She always has a can do attitude and always gets the job done. She will take on any challenge put in front of her and will no doubt get it accomplished in a timely manner."
Vicki lives in Fridley and has one daughter, Lindsey, who is also a member of the Fridley chapter. She works as a Category Manager for US Foods Culinary Equipment & Supplies.

Peggy Kaufman
Treasurer Candidate
2013-2014
Peggy Kaufman of the Saint Michael/Albertville Women of Today is pleased to announce her candidacy for the office of State Treasurer for the Minnesota Women of Today.
Peggy states, "As a member of the St. Michael - Albertville chapter for over 17 years, I have had the pleasure of serving on all levels of the organization. Each experience has enhanced my self-confidence and leadership skills."
Peggy joined Women of Today in 1996 to volunteer in her community. In her chapter, she has served as President twice, Chairman of the Board and Parliamentarian twice, State Delegate, Membership Vice President, Treasurer five times, and several local program manager positions.
Taking her experience to the next level, Peggy served on the district board as
District Director, Past DD, Parliamentarian, Programming Vice President, Treasurer twice, Membership Vice President and Newsletter District Program Manager. Sharing her talents with the state organization, Peggy has served as Administrative Vice President, Extensions Director, Parliamentarian and is currently serving as Chapter Management Vice President,
She has also served on the Bylaw and Policy Review Committee, Future Directions, Marketing Committee, Membership Management Committee, Strategic Plan, and the Convention Review and Restructuring Committee. Peggy has also served on the Minnesota Women of Today Foundation Board of Directors.
Peggy is the owner of a bookkeeping company, called The Essential Piece Inc.
The STMA chapter writes, "As a chapter we know she will be an excellent, capable and effective State Treasurer. We truly believe in Peggy."
