Soaring with Extensions

This appointed position assists chapters with the extensions process and follows through with newly extended chapters; and shall promote chapter extensions. The Extensions Manual and other extension information is available through the Extensions Director. This manual gives chapters the information they need to start and follow through with chapter extensions.

What is an extension? An extension is when a chapter/district/extension team extends the Women of Today hand of fellowship to a community without a chapter. Starting a new chapter is a very challenging and rewarding aspect of our organization. Words cannot describe the feeling of accomplishment and success that accompany a completed extension. It is exciting to meet new women and see the enthusiasm and energy they bring to the Women of Today. If you know of women in that area that would be interested in Women of Today, let me know at extension@mnwt.org. I invite you to take this opportunity to start a new chapter in your area. New funding is available from the MNWT Foundation to help with costs incurred at the beginning of an extension. Increased funding and grants of up to $200 are also now available.
