Women of Today provides opportunities for members to experience personal and professional growth in areas such as self-esteem, communication skills, confidence, and working effectively with others. Personal Enrichment Program courses are offered on a variety of topics and additional training is also available. Support is provided internally as well as from outside sources. Leadership opportunities exist at all levels of the organization through committee work, chairing projects, and holding officer positions. What can you learn through the Women of Today?
We will be celebrating our 70th Anniversary!
This convention is hosted by the Minnesota Women of Today. The major highlight of this convention include the Outstanding Awards Banquet. A goal of MNWT is to recognize people in our communities for how he/she impacts the lives of others, shows excellence in leadership abilities, and possesses the ability to initiate new projects/programs. For that reason, the Women Who Impact, and Outstanding Young Adult are given annually. Convention includes: Friday Night Party, and Outstanding Awards Banquet (Nominations are due November 1.)
March Planning is a one-day opportunity for any member to share recommendations with current and prospective staff. It is an excellent way to learn more about our organization. All members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Pre-registration is required so we can plan for food and space. If you cannot attend, you can still send recommendations to Chairman of the Board, Brenda Sather at 2020 Local Officer Training Session (LOTS)
LOTS offers individual training sessions for chapter presidents, state delegates, membership vice presidents, programming vice presidents, secretaries and treasurers.
